Description
Charlene Kopchick is a higher education professional with more than thirty years of experience at Ohio University, where she has played a significant role in student development and community engagement. She currently serves as the Executive Director for K-12 and community educational outreach programs within the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts and has previously held leadership roles such as Assistant Dean of Students for Campus Involvement. In addition, she serves as a board member for the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation. Kopchick earned her undergraduate degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and later completed a master’s degree in Higher Education/College Student Personnel at Ohio University. As a first-generation college student from Appalachian Pennsylvania, she has focused on expanding access to arts education and outreach opportunities, while also addressing educational inequities and fostering pathways to higher education.
