Abstract
This study investigates how body size relative to tank size, species, and sex influence stress levels in swordtail fishes by comparing reflex impairment responses before and after transfer from a 50-gallon to a 5-gallon aquarium, testing whether larger individuals experience greater stress in smaller environments.
