Abstract
*Reclaiming the Body* is an autoethnographic feminist health communication project that weaves my lived experience with fibroids together with narratives from other women, using the theoretical insights of Audre Lorde, Judith Butler, bell hooks, and Alice Walker to position embodied illness narratives as collective testimony and resistance.
