Investigation of microbial corrosion by anaerobic Clostridioides difficile biofilm using a new electrochemical test kit
Abstract
Clostridioides difficile is a pathogenic anaerobe that potentially causes microbiologically influenced corrosion. 304 stainless steel (SS) were incubated with C. difficile. Electrochemical tests were performed in test kits to observe corrosion trends.
