Preliminary morphological comparisons of a new species of Andean mice (Cricetidae: Thomasomys)
Abstract
Based on detailed morphological comparisons with other sympatric mice, we present evidence in support of a new species of Andean Mouse—the largest native species recorded in Ecuador. In doing so, we provide valuable data for the conservation of this area.
