Mutagenesis of the Toxin-antitoxin System in Shigella Flexneri using Error-prone PCR
Abstract
We investigate the toxin-antitoxin system in Shigella using epPCR to mutate the RyfA transcript, the toxic component. We then clone into an expression plasmid and analyze growth curves with intent to determine factors of toxicity for future applications.
