Measuring the Eye of a Needle: Neutrons + Oxygen-16 for Astrophysics Applications
Abstract
My project is located at the Ohio U accelerator lab. I study the interaction between neutrons and chemical elements such as oxygen. The application of this work is for a better understanding how AGB stars shine and research to make better nuclear reactors.
