Optical Cavity Connections between Qubits

Presenter Information

Abstract

Quantum dots are good candidates for qubits because they are compact, relatively stable, and can be fabricated in silicon wafers already used for microchips. This project proposes connecting them via optical cavities to minimize noise and decoherence.
