Abstract
Interview with Ken Wong, the FAA's Office of Commercial Space, about the licensing and regulating of commercial space activities. To date, Wong's office has licensed 183 launchings since 1989 with zero launch casualties. The Commercial Space Office is also involved in the licensing of sub-orbital human-space flight and of spaceports with the goal of encourage and facilitating space transportation while giving priority attention to public safety.
