Description
Mark Snider attended and graduated from Otterbein University from 1967-1971 where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English language and literature. After finishing his schooling, Snider moved to Athens, Ohio, where he founded the health insurance company, Snider, Fuller and Associates. He has worked as the owner and manager of the company since its inception in 1971. Along with running his own company, Snider has worked at various other insurance firms while he continued to work out of Athens. Snider has been an active member of the Athens community, committed to volunteering in multiple non-profit organizations such as the Friends of Children’s Services where he served as the finance chairman. Along with insurance, Snider has worked in the fields of finance and economic benefits for over fifty years. Snider has been a member of multiple organizations in the insurance and financial fields including the Qualifying and Life member of The Million Dollar Round Table since 1976, as well as a life and qualifying member of the Top of the Table. He has qualified to be a member of the Top of the Table ten times. On top of this, Snider is a member of the Forum 400. He also is a former member of the Ohio Association of Life Underwriters. Snider served as a chair along with being an Ambassador of Ohio AIFAPAC. He was also a national board member of the Association of Health Insurance Agents. Furthermore, Snider has worked as an adjunct professor at Ohio University since 1976 and received the Ohio University Honorary Alumnus of the year award in 2010. Along with this, Snider was formerly the head of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and received the Distinguished Service award from the Athens Chamber of Commerce in 2012.
