In Kenya, limited water access has resulted in mental health issues for women, including increased anxiety, depression, and psychosocial stress, stemming from the burdens of water collection, sanitation-related gender-based violence, and insufficient infrastructure, with inequalities disproportionately impacting individuals in informal settlements and rural areas.
