Structural Insight into Impact Trajectory through Mapping the Geology of the Kentland Impact Structure
Abstract
This research expands Gutschick's (1987) geologic map of the Kentland Impact Structure (Newton County, Indiana, USA) by integrating new exposures within the Newton County Stone Quarry to evaluate the apparent bilateral symmetry and assess the hypothesis of an oblique impact.
