Exploring the role of Fat-Specific Protein 27 (FSP27) in the musculoskeletal system
Abstract
Our study hypothesized that Fsp27-/- mice, despite having higher oxidative metabolism, would outperform wild-type mice in muscle tests, but results showed impaired endurance and strength in these mice, potentially due to a lack of Fsp27's role in utilizing fat reserves for energy.
